NEW DELHI: Three coaches of a goods train derailed late on Thursday in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place on the Delhi-Mumbai route while the train was heading from Rajkot, Gujarat to Bakaniya, near Bhopal.
Divisional Railway Manager Rajneesh Kumar confirmed the derailment.
“Three coaches of the train have derailed. One coach has been lifted,” Kumar said.
“All evidence is being collected. We are not cancelling any trains, just some trains may be delayed. This train was coming from Rajkot and was going to Bakaniya near Bhopal. The investigation teams are working,” he added further.
Train services are not being canceled, though some may face delays, according to officials.
