3 wickets in 5 balls! Pakistan pacer Khurram Shahzad breathes fire in 2nd Test vs Bangladesh – Watch | Cricket News – Times of India

Bangladesh fell apart on Day 3 of the third and final Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi, as the home team’s paceman Khurram Shzhzad broke the back of the visitors’ batting line-up on Sunday morning with a four-wicket spell, which included three wickets in five balls.
It left Bangladesh reeling at 75 for 6, requiring 49 runs to avoid follow-on after Pakistan scored 274 in their first innings on the second day.The first day of the match was washed out by rain.
Bangladesh lead the two-match series 1-0 after their historic first-ever Test win over Pakistan by 10 wickets at the same venue.

Shahzad (4 for 15) used the conditions and the green wicket to his side’s advantage. His fellow pacer Mir Hamza kept the pressure on the other end with a spell of 2 for 29. Hamza replaced Naseem Shah in Pakistan’s playing eleven for this match.
Bangladesh were reduced to 26 for 6 at one stage after resuming from their overnight score of 10 for no loss. But wicketkeeper-batsman Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz put a stop to the procession of batsmen and prevented any further loss before the lunch break.

Among Shahzad’s victims were openers Shadman Islam (10) and Zakir Hasan (1), followed by wickets of skipper Najmul Shanto (4) and veteran allrounder Shakib Al Hasan (2).
Hamza got rid of Mominul Haque (1) and Bangladesh’s first-Test centurion Mushfiqur Rahim (3).
