Well, there would have been one, if Vicky Kaushal had been able to crack the audition for the 2012 ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan.’ According to Indian Express, Vicky auditioned to be Shah Rukh Khan’s best friend Zain Mirza in in the movie. However, he didn’t make it to the final list, as the makers felt he didn’t suit the role. Eventually, the role was given to Sharib Hashmi.
‘Stree’
‘Stree’ came at a time when horror comedies were not much of a thing in the industry. However, the movie came and became a game-changer. It also became one of the most loved movies of Rakummar Rao. However, Rao wasn’t the first choice for headlining the film. According to the India Today report, the ‘Dunki’ actor Vicky Kaushal was the first choice for the movie, but he rejected the offer. As we speak, ‘Stree 2’ is all set to release on the big screen.
‘83’
Another big banner movie that Vicky Kaushal rejected is ‘83.’ The movie headlined by Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, was a sports drama directed by Kabir Khan. In this movie, Vicky Kaushal was offered the role of veteran cricketer Mohinder Amarnath aka Jimpa. However, back then Vicky was looking for leading characters and not supporting roles; thus, he rejected the movie.

‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’
Talking of movies that got inspiration from real life, here’s a film that slipped off Vicky Kaushal’s hands. The movie is Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.’ Vicky tried to crack the role of Farhan’s friend in the sports biopic. However, it appears the actor was not ready enough back then, as in his own words, he described the audition as ‘horrible.’
