Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid channel their inner Deadpool and Wolverine as they join Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman for New York Premiere – Pics Inside | – Times of India

Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid stole the spotlight as they turned up at the New York premiere of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ on July 22. The Gossip Girl alum and the supermodel walked the red carpet in outfits inspired by the titular superheroes before joining the men of the moment – Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Blake channelled Deadpool, played by her husband, by opting for a red catsuit with sequin detailing.She completed her look with chandelier earrings and a high pony, seemingly responding to the buzz about possibly playing Lady Deadpool.
Gigi drew inspiration from Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, wearing a canary-coloured bandana top and a matching leather skirt from Miu Miu, paired with pointed heels and oversized gold bangles.

After walking the red and yellow carpet, Blake was seen meeting Ryan, and posing arm-in-arm. Hugh and Gigi joined the couple for photos.

This public appearance comes shortly after Blake dispelled rumours of a divorce with Ryan, with whom she shares four children- James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth child born in 2023. Blake humorously shut down the rumours of an impending divorce, reacting on Instagram with a note that read, “Haha. They wish.”
Hugh looked dapper in a monochrome dark grey blazer, button-down shirt and neatly gelled hair.

Morena Baccarin made a bold statement in a leather dress with a corset-inspired bodice and a zip-up skirt.

Meanwhile, supervillain, Emma Corrin turned heads in a bodysuit with a faux fur shawl, sheer black tights, and black pumps.

The star-studded event also saw NSYNC member Lance Bass in attendance, along with Avril Lavigne who shwed off her edgy style.
The New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine was held just days ahead of its theatrical release on July 26.
The third instalment of the Deadpool movie features a star-studded cast including Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Matthew Macfadyen, Tyler Mane, Shioli Kutsuna, T.J. Miller, Aaron Stanford, and Jennifer Garner, who reprises her role as Elektra, among many others.
