BJP: Will Rahul Gandhi apologise after SC verdict on NEET? | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: After the Supreme Court ruled out re-test in the NEET-UG paper leak case, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad criticised Rahul Gandhi for fueling distrust in country’s examination system. He further asked if the leader of opposition will apologise for his remarks.
“Rahul Gandhi was shouting that there is fraud and all and many things. Do you (Rahul Gandhi) want to defame the examination system of our country? During the Congress regime, the papers were leaked many times. Will Rahul Gandhi apologise? Why is Rahul Gandhi insulting his own country? ” he said.
“The Supreme Court examined 22, 23 and 24 results. The Supreme Court found no material irregularities to order the cancellation of the entire examination. The Supreme Court has said that there is no need to hold the exams again. This is the big thing that has happened,” he added.

The apex court on Tuesday declined to cancel the NEET-UG 2024 examination conducted on May 5, stating there was no systemic breach found in the exam process. It, however, acknowledged that paper leak occurred in Hazaribagh and Patna, affirming it as an undisputed fact.
Rahul Gandhi had raised the NEET-UG paper leak issue in the Parliament after assuring the affected candidates to be their “voice”.
