CUET UG Result 2024: Exam overview
The CUET UG exam, introduced two years ago, was conducted in a hybrid mode (online and offline) for the first time. Papers with a large number of registrations were held in pen and paper or OMR mode, while those with fewer applications were conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. This aimed to reduce the number of test days and allow students to take the test in their preferred city, expanding the range of examination centers.
This year, the CUET UG exam was held between May 15 and 29. Students can access the issued final answer key by logging in using their application number and date of birth. In 2024, a total of 13,47,618 students registered for the CUET UG exam, including 7.17 lakh male candidates, 6.30 lakh female candidates, and 7 transgender students.
CUET UG Result 2024: Marking scheme
For each correct answer, candidates will receive 5 marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unanswered or marked-for-review questions will not be marked. This year, as part of NTA’s plan to revamp the exam, the CUET UG Result 2024 scores will not be normalized, a change welcomed by students nationwide, who could choose only six papers.
