NEW DELHI: A 28-year-old student of Tata Institute of Social Sciences was found dead in his rented apartment on Sunday. The Human Resource student, Anurag Jaiswal, was reportedly heavily intoxicated and had attended a party with 125 people the night before.
Officials said that when he did not wake up in the morning, he was taken to a local hospital in Chembur, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The authorities suspect possible ragging and the matter is under investigation. All of Jaiswal’s friends are being questioned.
