The GOAT: The Greatest Of All Time – Official Telugu Trailer
Despite the huge pre-release buzz and a significant Rs 65 crore earned through advance ticket sales, the film’s overall first-day collections fell slightly short of expectations.‘GOAT’ was projected to surpass Rs 90 crore globally on its opening day, but it grossed Rs 43 crore nett in India, as reported by Sacnilk. The Tamil version led the charge with Rs 38 crore, while the Telugu version added Rs 3 crore to the total. However, the Hindi version of the film lagged behind, earning just Rs 1.7 crore.
Hitting the big screens on September 5, ‘GOAT’, is said to be the last film starring Vijay in the lead. Unfortunately, with the mediocre reviews from the audiences, fans are expecting the actor to do more films in the future, giving the star a better send off.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, ‘GOAT’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal, Mohan, Jayaram, Parvathi Nair, Vaibhav, and Premji. The action drama, which has been released across 5,000 screens in India in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, is expected to continue drawing audiences.
