Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child together, which is due later this month. Just days before Deepika Padukone’s expected delivery, the two Bollywood stars were reportedly seen visiting a church in Mumbai to seek blessings.
According to the popular paparazzo account Viral Bhayani, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited Mount Mary Church in Mumbai on Friday morning.Although no pictures from their visit have been published online yet, it is reported that they sought blessings for their upcoming child.
However, this news follows Ranveer Singh’s return to Mumbai just two days prior. He had been shooting at an undisclosed location outside the city but arrived back in Mumbai on Wednesday, September 4.
The ‘Padmaavat’ actor was snapped by paparazzi at the Mumbai airport upon his arrival. In a video, Ranveer was seen looking stylish in a white hoodie paired with matching pyjamas, complemented by a long black coat.
Meanwhile, the star couple made headlines this week when Deepika Padukone shared photos from her maternity shoot. The pictures showcased her baby bump in a variety of comfortable and high-fashion outfits.
Ranveer Singh also participated, joining her for some adorable pictures. Friends and colleagues from the film industry have been sending their blessings and well wishes as the couple embarks on this new chapter of their lives.
On the work front, Deepika was recently seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The film minted Rs 1041 crores worldwide, and incidentally saw Deepika essaying the character of Sumathi, who is pregnant with the titular character.
Ranveer will be next seen in Aditya Dhar’s untitled movie. The actor had earlier announced the film as he shared a black-and-white photo collage also featuring Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Aditya, and Arjun Rampal.
