Schools closed across various states till 16th September: Here’s why – Times of India



A long weekend begins tomorrow for students in Rajasthan. Schools will be closed on September 13, 2024, in observance of Ramdev Jayanti, Khejarli Martyrdom, and Teja Dashami. This closure applies to both government and private schools. Additionally, there is a possibility that schools might remain closed on Monday, September 16, due to Milad-un-Nabi, though no official notice has been issued yet.Students and parents are advised to check with their respective schools for confirmation. Many schools also have Saturdays off, so students could enjoy a three-day break from September 13 to September 15, with a probable holiday on September 16. It is recommended to confirm these details with school authorities.
In other states, schools will also be closed tomorrow for various reasons. In Madhya Pradesh, schools will be closed on September 13, 2024, in Bhopal, Gwalior, and Damoh due to adverse weather conditions. The closure will extend for two days in Gwalior and Damoh districts, affecting schools, colleges, and Anganwadis.
Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district has also announced holiday on both September 12 and 13, 2024 due to adverse weather conditions.
Due to deteriorating law and order in Manipur, all schools and colleges have been closed, with a tentative reopening expected on September 15, 2024.
Parents and students are advised to regularly check for updates from school authorities regarding any further changes in school closures.
