Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 16 models at 5:30 PM IST today (September 13). Customers can pre-book the iPhone 16 models from the official online Apple Store. Apple will start shipping the new iPhones on September 20 and will even hit the shelves of retail stores on the same date. Apart from this, the new iPhones will also be available on third-party online platforms like Flipkart, Amazon and more.
iPhone 16 launch: iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 get a price cut
Apple lowered the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 in India after the launch of the iPhone 16. The prices have been reduced in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. The iPhone 15, which was launched last year, now starts at Rs 69,900 for the base 128GB model. The iPhone 15 Plus has been reduced by Rs 10,000 and is now available at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB variant. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14, which is now two years old, has seen a bigger price cut from its launch price. The base 128GB model is now priced at Rs 59,900, down from Rs 69,900. This is a big reduction of Rs 20,000 from its launch price of Rs 79,900 in 2022.
