J-Hope enlisted in April, becoming the second BTS member to fulfil his military duty after Jin. During his service, he served as an instructor at the 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon Province.
Reflecting on his time in the military, J-Hope shared a message on Weverse a month before his discharge, stating, “Looking back on my military service, I feel proud and confident. Although it felt like the time passed slowly, I’ve grown fond and sentimental.”
Suga, a member of BTS, began his military service on September 22, 2023, and is scheduled to be discharged in March 2025. Following him, fellow members RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, who enlisted in December 2023, are all expected to complete their service and return by June 2025.
With multiple members enlisting around the same time, fans can anticipate the group’s comeback in mid-2025.
