Virat Kohli loses cool, gives fiery warning to New Zealand batters – WATCH | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Already trailing 0-1 in the three-match Test series, Team India found themselves in a tough spot in the second Test against New Zealand.
Despite restricting New Zealand to 259, the Indian batters struggled to put up runs and were dismissed for 156, handing New Zealand a significant 103-run lead.
As the Indian bowlers worked hard for breakthroughs, Ravindra Jadeja created a chance in the 37th over of New Zealand’s second innings, finding the edge of New Zealand captain Tom Latham’s bat, who was on 68 at the time.
Jadeja’s good-length delivery outside off stump drew Latham into playing inside the line, resulting in a fine edge. However, the chance was low and difficult, leaving Indian captain Rohit Sharma with minimal chance to reach it in the slip cordon. The ball zipped away to the boundary, heightening India’s frustration.
Visibly upset, Virat Kohli was seen speaking to Latham and Blundell as they conversed in the middle of the pitch.
In a viral video on social media, Kohli appeared to be asking them to avoid running down the middle of the pitch. Another video showed Kohli in conversation with the on-field umpire.
