The Kapil team from The Great Indian Kapil Show is poised to host yet another joyous lineup. This time, the actors of the gripping thriller DO PATTI—Kajol Devgan, Kriti Sanon, Shaheer Sheikh, and writer Kanika Dhillon—are the special guests at Kap’s Café. As Kapil brings Kajol and Kriti to the stage on his baggi, he jokes, ‘Ek woh hai jinko main college time se pasand karta hu, dusri woh hai jo mujhe apne college time se pasand karti hai.” He then invites them to the cafe and asks them to have a seat with him.
Kapil then reveals that in the film Do Patti, there are many first times. Kriti is doing her double role for the first time, while Kajol is playing a cop for the first time. Kriti then asked, “How come you never did a cop’s role before despite having Singham at home?” Further Kapil asked Kriti about how challenging it was to play a double role.
Kriti said, “The toughest thing was that usually in old films the characters have different storylines and the twin characters meet each other towards its climax. But with this one 70-80% of my scenes are with myself only so that becomes tough to do the same scenes twice with different style and mood.”
Further Kapil Sharma invited Shaheer Sheikh and Kanika Dhillon to the stage. Kapil asks Shaheer whether he is romancing with two Kritis in the film and he affirms, ‘Aisa hi kuch hai’. Kapil then says, ‘Look at Shaheer’s luck, his first film with two Kritis, adding Kajol is also there and today he met me as well.” Shaheer calls himself fortunate, Kriti and Kanika joke that he did the film just to meet Kapil.

Kapil then shared, “Shaheer has already done an International Film and we have heard that he is known as ‘Indonesia ka Shah Rukh Khan’, is it true?” Shaheer replied, “Yes, they call me that sometimes. SRK is a huge star there, for them India is equivalent to Shah Rukh Khan, so when I did a show there and a few movies, they started calling me Indonesia Ka Shah Rukh Khan“.
