Kunal Kamra ‘accepts’ Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal’s “Aaja Service Centre” offer – Times of India


Kunal Kamra, in his latest post on X (formerly Twitter) says that he has “no choice but to accept” CEO’s Bhavish Aggarwal’s offer to work. He said that he feels like an Ola employee after being tagged in posts “thousands of times”. In the post, Kamra also details action points for the EV maker which he said Ola Electric must commit to “seal this collaboration”.

The comedian has been locking horns with Ola Electric over the past few days, highlighting issues with its service centres. In the first post, Kamra replied to a video that depicted “a shocking experience at Rangraj Nagar, Solapur” where Ola scooters are seen in a bad condition! Kamra got in an online spat with the Ola CEO who then offered him to join Ola service centre. “I will pay better than your flop shows pay you,” Aggarwal then said.

Kamra recently shared a post tagging union minister Nitin Gadkari, raising the plight of customers who have been hit by alleged poor service of Ola Electric.

“I have no choice but to accept @bhash’s offer to work with OLA… After being tagged thousands of times I anyway feel like I am an OLA employee. OLA can seal this collaboration by committing to the below action points & looking forward to joining.”

In the post, Kamra also listed action points for Ola. These are:

  • Ola Electric must stand firm in their commitment to solve their service crisis.
  • OLA Must commit to completing all scooter repairs within 7 business days from service request at authorised service centre’s.
  • For repairs extending beyond this period, customers will first receive either a temporary replacement scooter or daily conveyance reimbursement of Rs. 500 until repair completion. Additionally, customers will earn Rs. 500 per delayed day (up to Rs. 50000)
  • Every new OLA electric must be sold with 2 insurance’s one for the Scooter & one for their services (service insurance should be free for the customer)
