India has been basking in the most melodious musical treats, as on one hand, Diljit Dosanjh is doing the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour, and on the other hand, Coldplay is casting its magic. Tickets for Coldplay concerts have been selling like hotcakes right from the word go, though some complain that the prices are very high, some fans believe it is all worth the experience. However, if we are talking about expensive tickets, then a recent report has claimed that India’s beloved cricketer Virat Kohli’s bat costs five times more than Coldplay’s India concert tickets.
Recently YouTuber Norman Kochanek highlighted the premium cricket equipment at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre, Sydney. The very centre has been selling Virat Kohli’s signature MRF Genius Grand King bat, and the cost will make your jaw drop.
Virat’s signature bat is being sold at a whopping AUD 2,985 (approximately INR 1.62 lakh approximately). These figures prove that the bat is priced five times higher than the VIP tickets for Coldplay’s upcoming concert, which is scheduled to happen in Ahmedabad. The most expensive tickets for Coldplay’s concert are priced at INR 35,000, which now in comparison to Virat’s bat doesn’t look like a high figure.
Virat’s popularity and the way he is loved all over the world is not an ordinary phenomenon. Though he is no longer the captain of the Indian cricket team, his face has been used for promotional banners for the upcoming match in Australia.
Besides his cricketing skills, he remains in the limelight for his personal life. He is married to the gorgeous and talented Anushka Sharma and is a father to two young beautiful children – Vamika (daughter) and Akaay (son).
