Smriti Irani to address graduates at Parul University – Times of India


Former Union minister for women and child development, Smriti Irani, will attend Parul University’s 8th Convocation Ceremony as the chief guest.
Smriti Irani is recognized for her contributions to public service, including key initiatives like the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign, aimed at promoting gender equality and education for girls. With a career spanning politics, social welfare, and the arts, she has been a prominent voice for women’s empowerment and youth development.
“The event, scheduled to honor the achievements of over 20,000 graduating students, will mark a significant milestone in the university’s journey,” said the head of department at the varsity.
“The convocation will provide graduates with an opportunity to hear from a leader whose experiences underscore perseverance and social responsibility. Her address is expected to inspire students as they step into their professional lives,” the HOD added.
