Accused in Salman Khan house firing case gunshots were fired just to give apprehension to him over 1998 blackbuck poaching case: ‘No intention to harm him’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

At the wee hours of the morning, on April 14, two people on the bike started gunfire outside Salman Khan‘s house in Bandra. Since then, the case has been under investigation and here’s the latest development on it. One of the accused in the case, Vicky Gupta has filed a bail plea before a special court set up under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA Act) in Mumbai on Monday.
In his plea, Gupta has mentioned that he was influenced by the principles of Lawrence Bishnoi.
It’s been more than three months since India woke up to the shocking news of gunshots being fired at Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai on April 14. The superstar later recorded his statement while claiming that the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang carried out the firing at his residence. In the latest development of the Salman Khan house firing case, an accused has claimed that he was influenced by Bishnoi. The accused alleged that Bishnoi, who is lodged in a Sabarmati jail, has been wrongly named in the case. The gangster has no role to play in the firing incident.
He further added that the gunshots were just fired to give apprehension to Salman Khan over his 1998 blackbuck poaching case, but he did not have any intention of harming the actor. He also further stated, according to PTI, that he did not get any call from Bishnoi. The shooter confessed that he is from a village in Bihar and lost his job in Tamil Nadu during the pandemic. Hence, he was just debt-ridden which compelled him to commit a crime.
Earlier, two other accused in this case had confessed joining Bishnoi’s gang after getting in touch with him through social media.
