NEW DELHI: Ahead of the election of the Lok Sabha speaker, the Congress party on Tuesday issued a three-line whip to its party MPs in Lok Sabha to remain present in the House tomorrow.
In the whip ratified by the grand old party’s chief whip K Suresh, who is also the INDIA bloc’s Speaker candidate, it was stated that a “very important issue will be taken up.”
“All the members of the Congress party are requested to kindly remain present in the house from 11 am till the adjournment of the House on June 26, without fail and support the party stand.”
“This may be treated as most important,” the three line whip read.
