NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the launch of full-time ME, MTech, and PhD programmes for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year. These programmes are offered under the Quality Improvement Program (QIP).
These full-time programmes are available to full-time faculty members of AICTE-approved polytechnic, engineering institutes who wish to pursue a master’s degree under the QIP scheme.Interested candidates can find the application form on the AICTE official website, aicte-india.org, and must register by June 20.
The official notice states, “The 18 credit programme for six months duration will be held in hybrid mode and will be offered by IISc, IITs, IIITs and C-DAC for selected faculty members. The programme will be fully funded by AICTЕ.”

To be eligible for the master’s programmes, applicants must have at least one year of teaching experience at the polytechnic level and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree. For PhD programmes in engineering and management, candidates should have at least three years of teaching experience as full-time regular or permanent faculty members at AICTE-approved degree or diploma level institutes and a relevant master’s degree.
