The trailer for the highly anticipated ‘Singham Again‘ was unveiled today in Mumbai. During the launch, Akshay Kumar sent a video message to his co-stars and fans.
Although he couldn’t attend the launch in person, he expressed his enthusiasm for the film and urged audiences to support the film, much like they did for his film ‘Sooryavanshi’. “I want to apologise as I could not attend the Singham 3 trailer launch in person today,” He began and went on to add, “But looking at this housefull theatre has given me so much joy.I remember during the pandemic, there was a 50 percent occupancy, yet people turned up to watch my and Rohit Shetty‘s film, Sooryavanshi. You helped it become a blockbuster. Please give that kind of support to Singham Again as well.”
In a light-hearted moment, he acknowledged the contrasting personalities of his co-stars, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh, adding humor to his message about celebrating together this season. “And yes, my brother Tiger Shroff is also there. He keeps a little to himself, is a bit shy, which is why we have Ranveer Singh there too. Let us celebrate Diwali together this season. Ajay, I love you,” the actor concluded with a humorous remark, prompting the audience to burst into laughter.
Spanning an impressive 4 minutes and 58 seconds, this trailer is touted as the longest trailer for any Hindi film to date. The trailer showcases Ajay reprising his iconic role as Bajirao Singham, alongside returning characters from Shetty’s cop universe, such as Ranveer’s Simmba and Akshay’s Veer Sooryavanshi. New additions include Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya. This diverse cast not only enhances the film’s appeal but also marks a significant shift in Rohit Shetty’s narrative approach by introducing a strong female lead as Shakti Shetty.
The film creatively intertwines elements from the Ramayana with contemporary storytelling. Devgn’s character faces off against Arjun Kapoor’s modern-day Raavan, exploring themes of good versus evil.
With its grand scale and star-studded lineup, ‘Singham Again’ is set to be a major highlight of Diwali 2024 as it is set to hit the big screens on November 1, 2024.
