Akshay Kumar is currently seen in ‘Sarfira‘ which is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ starring Suriya. The film is getting a lot of accolades and has slowly grown at the box office, through positive word of mouth. Akshay who is known to be a thorough professional has recently revealed that he’s been finally cheated on, in his career.
During a chat called ‘Sarfiri Baatein’ with Ghazal Alagh on Youtube, which is a part of the promotions of ‘Sarfira’, Akshay spoke about it.He said, “Ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and it’s cheating only. (It has happened to me. A few producers haven’t cleared my dues yet).”
Here’s what he does after that. “Uske baad main usse baat hi nahin karta, Chup ho jaata hoon apna side mein nikal jaata hoon (I just don’t talk to that person. I go quiet).”
Akshay is known to do 3-4 films a year which is rare for any actor. However, he maintains that if he does only one film in 1-2 years and it doesn’t do well, it would be heartbreaking. In another interview, Akshay also reflected on the failure of his past few films, including ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. He shared with Forbes India, “Behind every film, there is a lot of blood, sweat and passion that goes in. It is heartbreaking to see any film fail. But you have to learn to see the silver lining. Every failure teaches you the value of success and increases the hunger for it even further.”
