Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has been spilling secrets from the films sets. This time around, the director of films like ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’, and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, opened up about his contrasting experiences working with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Anees described Akshay as ‘exceptionally punctual’, noting that if the actor promises to start working at 7 am, he will be there right on time.He also admitted that this punctuality requires them to wake up early and work harder. Akshay has often mentioned in interviews that he prefers starting his day at dawn to finish early.
Bazmee also discussed working with Salman Khan, noting that Salman prefers to start his day later, which suits him well. He mentioned that the supersar often arrives around 1 pm, has lunch, and stays until the end of the day. Having trained under Raj Kapoor, where they worked through the night, Bazmee finds it preferable when the workday begins around 2 pm.
Anees mentioned that although Akshay and Salman have different routines, he enjoys working with both equally. He noted that every actor has a unique style, and adapting to their routines can be quite enjoyable.
The director collaborated with Salman on films like ‘No Entry’ and ‘Ready’, while his work with Akshay includes ‘Welcome’, ‘Singh Is Kinng’, and ‘Thank You’.
