Ranveer Singh, who is making headlines for his next project ‘Don 3’ with Farhan Akhtar, has now reportedly signed an action film with Aditya Dhar of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ fame.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Ranveer and Aditya are all set to start shooting for their maiden collaboration in August 2024. The report also stated that the first schedule of the yet-untitled action thriller will begin in August at an international location, followed by a stint in India.The film, inspired by true events, will feature Ranveer Singh as one of the most important agents in the history of R&AW.
The report also added the makers have also roped in Akshaye Khanna for the film. Ranveer and Akshaye share an exciting dynamic in the film, and Dhar is looking forward to showcasing their chemistry. Akshaye is impressed with the writing of Dhar’s upcoming project and has joined the cast.
The film reportedly also features Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in key roles. While Sanjay Dutt will portray the antagonist, the character details for R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal have been kept under wraps. However, each character has been aptly cast and plays a pivotal role in this mission-based action thriller.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is set to reprise his role as ‘Simmba’ in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Singham Again,’ featuring an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor.
