HYDERABAD: Amber-Resojet, a 50:50 joint venture between Delhi NCR-based air conditioning solutions provider Amber Enterprises and Hyderabad-based Resolute Group, is investing Rs 250 crore in setting up manufacturing facilities in the state.
The investment will be made in setting up capacities for developing fully automatic top-load and front-load washing machines along with their components as part of a strong backward integration strategy.The investment will be pumped in a phased manner over a five-year period and will generate direct and indirect jobs for over 1,000 people, the company said.
The company is also exploring the possibility of setting up an advanced printed circuit board (PCB) production facility in the state soon. The announcement was made on Monday after a delegation from the company met IT & industries minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who assured them of the requisite govt support in providing the necessary infrastructure and policy assistance.
The minister also urged Amber-Resojet to consider making Hyderabad the hub for their South India operations and also look at Telangana as a location for their upcoming PCB substrate manufacturing facility.
