Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been dealing with divorce rumours for months. Amidst these rumours, some reports have alleged that Abhishek was unfaithful to Aishwarya with his ‘Dasvi’ co-star Nimrat Kaur, though there is no evidence supporting these accusations.
Amidst this controversy, a photo of Amitabh Bachchan’s handwritten letter to Nimrat Kaur has gone viral. In 2022, the legendary actor expressed his admiration for her performance in ‘Dasvi’, writing, “We have hardly had any interactions or meetings. The last was a compliment I gave at a YRF event for the Cadbury ad. But your work in Dasvi is exceptional, the nuances, gestures, everything! My deep admiration and congratulations.”
Reacting to his post, the actress shared a picture of Big B’s letter on her Instagram, captioning it, “Eighteen years ago, when I first set foot in Mumbai, the thought that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan would one day know my name, remember us meeting, appreciate my work in a commercial, and, years later, send a note and flowers for something I tried in a film, all of this would have felt like a distant dream, perhaps even someone else’s dream for me, not my own.”

For the unversed, ‘Dasvi’ was released directly on the OTT platform two years ago. In addition to Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur, the film also starred Yami Gautam in a leading role.
