Bank Holidays June 2024 list: According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list, banks across the country will remain closed for a total of 10 days in June 2024. This includes state-specific regional holidays, second and fourth Saturdays, and all five Sundays in the month.
Although bank branches will be shut on the specified dates, customers can still access online banking services such as net banking, mobile banking, and ATMs.However, if you require assistance from bank employees, it is advisable to plan your visit by checking the state-specific holiday list.
The RBI designates certain holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) holidays, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts. As per the RBI holiday list, the following are the bank holidays for June:

- June 1: Banks will be closed in Shimla on account of Lok Sabha Elections 2024
- June 15: Banks will be closed in Mizoram for YMA Day and in Odisha for Raja Sankranti.
- June 17 (Monday): Banks will be closed across India for Bakri Eid (Id-Uz-Zuha), except in Mizoram, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.
- June 18 (Tuesday): Banks will be closed in Jammu and Srinagar for Bakri Eid (Id-Uz-Zuha)
