‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ director Anees Bazmee unfazed by Diwali clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

This year’s Diwali is all set to witness a major box-office clash between Ajay Devgn‘s ‘Singham Again’ and Kartik Aaryan‘s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Interestingly, the filmmaker Anees Bazmee, director of the horror film, remains unfazed by the competition.

As reported by Mid Day, there are talks between the producer Bhushan Kumar, director Rohit Shetty, and Singham Again star Ajay Devgn; however, both films seem to be going ahead with their scheduled releases.

So, this overlap has left a dilemma before Anees Bazmee, who shares a long professional history with both Akshay Kumar-who is to make a special appearance in ‘Singham Again’ and Ajay Devgn.

Interestingly, Aneez Bazmee reportedly said that the clash is entirely the producers’ business. So, despite the concern about the alleged competition, the director feels that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is a very good film and that both films can go great at the box office. According to him, clashes are not good, but a good film goes by its quality and not by date.
Although Anees Bazmee does not have a perfect idea of how the box office works, he is still hopeful that both ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ will draw audiences in the festive season. He also said that final calls will depend on producers and distributors rather than directors.
Meanwhile, following a recent three-way battle during the Independence Day weekend, the upcoming Diwali holiday promises another head-to-head between two high-profile Bollywood films, one a horror film and another an action-packed one.
