Bihar STET 2024 results declared, 2.9 lakh candidates qualify: Check pass percentages, official website to download scorecards – Times of India


BSEB STET 2024 Results: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the results for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 today, November 18. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access their results on the official website at bsebstet.com.
The announcement was made during a live press conference by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore. While the link to view and download the results will be activated shortly, candidates are advised to keep checking the portal for updates.

BSEB STET 2024 Results: Pass percentages and other key stats

In Paper 1 (for teaching Classes 9 and 10), 194,697 candidates passed across 16 subjects, achieving a pass percentage of 73.77%.
Meanwhile, in Paper 2 (for teaching Classes 11 and 12), 103,050 candidates qualified in 29 subjects, reflecting a pass percentage of 64.44%. Overall, 70.25% of candidates cleared 49 subjects spanning both papers. These successful candidates are now eligible to participate in TRE 4.

The STET 2024 exam was conducted in two phases this year. Phase-I took place from March 1 to March 20, 2024, while Phase-II was held between September 10 and September 30, 2024. The BSTET certificate awarded to qualifying candidates is valid for seven years from the date of issuance, allowing them to apply for teaching positions in Bihar’s schools within this period. After the certificate expires, candidates will need to reappear for the BSTET to maintain their eligibility and ensure their teaching skills remain current.

Step 2: Click on the “STET 2024 Results” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials, such as username and password.
Step 4: Submit your details to view the results.
Step 5: Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
