C.V. Raman Global University, Odisha (CGU) celebrated a significant milestone in its journey of fostering skill development and industry collaboration by partnering with Bajaj Auto Ltd. The MOU signing ceremony, which commenced at 9:00 AM today, was held at the Bosch Rexroth Auditorium on the CGU campus in Bhubaneswar.

The collaboration between CGU and Bajaj Auto Ltd.has led to the establishment of the Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre within the university premises. This advanced facility is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories aimed at enhancing practical skills among students, thereby enhancing their employability in the manufacturing sector.

BEST is the flagship CSR initiative of Bajaj Auto Ltd. that aims to equip engineers from tier 2, tier 3 engineering and diploma colleges with the latest technical skills making them competent and employable. Deserving candidates have access to scholarships, making this initiative accessible to a wide range of students from socially and economically weaker sections.
The event was graced by Mr. Sudhakar Gudipati, Vice President – CSR, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Vice President, Human Resource, Bajaj Auto Ltd, Mr. V Ramesh, Head Skilling at Bajaj Auto Ltd, Mr. Sanjib Kumar Rout, Founder & President of CGU-Odisha, and other team members from Bajaj Auto CSR team and CGU.

They delivered motivational speeches underscoring the significance of the partnership and its potential to transform skill development in the region.
Mr. Rout emphasized, “Today marks a new chapter in our commitment to providing world-class education and hands-on training to the deserving students from the community our students. The CGU-BEST Centre will serve as a beacon of innovation and excellence, preparing our youth to excel in the evolving industrial landscape.”

Mr. Gudipati added, “Bajaj Auto Ltd. is honored to partner with CGU in this endeavor. Through the CGU-BEST Centre, we aim to nurture a skilled workforce equipped to meet the demands of the manufacturing sector, thereby contributing to the nation’s economic growth.”
Mr. Ray said, “BEST underlines Bajaj’s commitment to foster skill development and empower Indian youth. With our collaboration with universities like CGU-, we are set to empower the next generation of engineers to excel in the industry.”

The successful MoU signing ceremony signifies a pivotal step towards enriching educational outcomes and industry readiness among students at CGU. It highlights the joint commitment of both institutions to foster innovation and excellence in skill development.
