NEW DELHI: The Congress party on Sunday wrote to the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to inform him of the appointment of Gaurav Gogoi as the party’s deputy leader in the House. Alongside this announcement, MP Kodikunnil Suresh has been appointed as the chief whip, while Congress MPs Manickam Tagore and Md Jawaid have been named as whips.
