Addressing the media on Friday, Pande said that the party’s Political Affairs Committee had reviewed the Lok Sabha election results for each constituency. The Congress contested 17 seats in the state, winning six, while the alliance it was part of secured victory on 43 seats. During the review meeting, nine proposals were passed, including those concerning women’s rights.
Pande highlighted the impact of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, stating that it had resonated with the public. He emphasized that the people of Uttar Pradesh had fulfilled their responsibilities admirably, amidst perceived threats to the Constitution. Despite limited resources, Congress workers and officials had put in tremendous effort, resulting in significant changes in the state.
