The highly-anticipated trailer of the sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ was finally released online on Monday, June 10 and it has fans buzzing with excitement. Besides getting to see Prabhas in action, along with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan‘s cool avatars, one of the major standout moments from the trailer involves a brief scene that appears to show actress Deepika Padukone with a noticeable baby bump.
In the blink-and-you-miss-it scene in the trailer, Deepika is seen lying on the floor seemingly unconscious. She wakes up with a fright and grips her belly. Although just a fleeting shot, it was easy to spot the bump under the layers of her rustic costume. She then says in a voice over, “Ek jaan ke andar, dusre jaan.”

The scene caught the attention of viewers, leading to speculation about her character’s storyline in the film and if director Nag Ashwin rewrote her character to incorporate her pregnancy into the film.
