Donald Trump: Sundar Pichai called me to say, ‘this was the biggest thing on Google’ – Times of India

On the Joe Rogan podcast, Donald Trump spilled the tea: “I did McDonald’s last week, and I actually got a call from Sundar. He said, ‘This is the biggest thing we’ve had in years!’” Now that’s some fast-food fame worth celebrating!

Former US President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed that Google CEO Sundar Pichai personally called to praise a McDonald’s visit he made in Pennsylvania.
During a recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Trump claimed that Google CEO, Sundar Pichai called him to convey accolades on his visit to McDonald’s. “I actually got a call from Sundar…the head of Google and he said, sir, I just want to tell you what you did with McDonald’s was one of the single biggest events we’ve ever had at Google,” said Trump.
While visiting a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, Trump claimed he worked briefly as a fry cook, asserting that he spent “15 minutes more” than Vice President Kamala Harris, who has previously mentioned working at the chain in her youth.
Trump’s comment comes after his earlier accusations that Google manipulated search results to reduce his online presence during campaign rallies. He mentioned that he had previously reached out to Pichai to address the matter.
Trump has also claimed to have received similar calls from Apple CEO Tim Cook and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Like Pichai, they have neither confirmed nor denied these calls, possibly to avoid offending the former President. Claiming interactions with notable figures, including foreign leaders, has been a common tactic for Trump. Critics often view these claims as exaggerated, fictional, or self-aggrandizing, given their lack of confirmation.
