DU Admissions 2024: The University of Delhi has unveiled the schedule for Spot Round-I of its undergraduate admissions. A total of 72,263 seats have been confirmed for this round.
Applications for Spot Round-I will open at 10 am on September 18 and will close at 11:59 pm on September 19, according to the schedule posted on the university’s official admissions website (admission.uod.ac.in).Seat allocation results will be announced on September 21 at 3 pm. Admission process
Eligible candidates for this round are those who applied through the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 but have not yet secured admission by September 17. To participate, candidates must select the ‘Spot Admission’ option on their dashboard, as outlined in the notification.
Once a seat is assigned, candidates must accept the offer by 11:59 pm on September 22. The final date to make the online payment to confirm the seat is 4:59 pm on September 24.
Candidates can only choose from available programme-college combinations based on their category. It is essential to accept the seat offered, as failure to do so will forfeit eligibility for further admissions to Delhi University and exclude candidates from the CSAS(UG)-2024 process.
No upgrades or withdrawals will be permitted during the Spot Admission rounds. The allocated seat is final and will not be subject to change in future rounds. Additionally, the dashboards of all admitted candidates will be locked, and no withdrawals will be allowed after 5 pm on September 17.
