NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted an additional charge sheet on Friday against K Kavitha, a prominent leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), in connection with the corruption case linked to the excise ‘scam’. The charge sheet was filed in a court in the city.
Special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja is expected to review the charge sheet later today.Kavitha, who is presently in judicial custody (JC) for this case, is also under JC for a related money laundering case being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
