The Zonal officer of the Prayagraj Development Authority, said to ANI, “This building is constructed under the name Zeeshan Fatima. This is constructed on Waqf land. They could not prove their ownership.Hence, the order to demolish it was passed.”
Ashraf was killed alongside Atiq Ahmad in April of the previous year.
According to Deepak Bhuker, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (City), the police have been gathering information on the illegal and benami properties of five additional members of the late Atiq Ahmad’s gang.
The properties of Saddam and Zaid Master, two brothers-in-law of the deceased gangster Ashraf, have already been listed by the Bareilly police. Both have a criminal history at the Puramufti police station.
The Gangster Act has already been imposed on Saddam, who is currently improsoned in Budaun jail, by the Bareilly police. Zaid Master will also be charged under the same act.
