NEW DELHI: Indian Rafales soared high and flew over the Great Pyramids in formation with the Egyptian Rafales on Thursday. Indian ambassador to Egypt, Ajit Gupte, met the team and extended his best wishes.
The IAF Rafale fighter jets are returning to India after successfully participating in the Exercise Red Flag, an aerial combat training exercise, in the US.
While on the return, a refuelling halt was done at Lajes, Portugal, where Manish Chauhan, the Indian Ambassador to Portugal, interacted with the IAF team and exchanged mementos.
Subsequently, the contingent split into two teams and conducted a joint exercise with the Egyptian Air Force and Hellenic Air Force in Egypt and Greece, respectively.
