Inside Out 2 Box Office: Ananya Panday voiced animation film nears 13 crores | English Movie News – Times of India



Amy Poehler‘s voiced Inside Out 2 is becoming this summer’s biggest hit, poised to surpass US $500 million by week’s end. According to Box Office Mojo, the film has already earned over US $255 million domestically in the American markets, with the China market opening on Friday.
While the film is doing great in countries like Mexico ($45M), UK ($19.7M), Korea ($18.5M), Germany ($11.5M), Argentina ($10.7M) as per Deadline, but when it comes to India, the film has been only doing decent business.The film in its first week, minted about Rs 11.8 crore. It entered the second week on a steady note, where it collected Rs 91 lakh on Friday, which was a 7 % jump from its Thursday collection of Rs 85 lakh, thus taking the overall collection to Rs 12.71 crore.
In India to attract a wider audience base, the makers had enlisted Ananya Panday to voice Riley’s character in Hindi, but unfortunately the Hindi version has contributed only Rs 2 crore to its week 1 collection of Rs 11.8 crore.. The movie features Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan reprising their roles as the original emotions. New voices joining the cast include Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Paul Walter Hauser, and Kensington Tallman as the additional emotions and characters.
Inside Out narrates Riley’s journey through the perspectives of five core emotions: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. In the sequel, as Riley matures and experiences new physical and emotional changes, additional emotions join the mix, including Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Boredom.
