Pop icon Justin Bieber seems to be facing some financial turbulence. With his ongoing health battle with the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, heavy bills, and more, reports suggest that the singer is under a lot of financial pressure. An insider has claimed that in the wake of the financial crisis, Justin despite the health scare will have to hit the road for his music tour.
For the unversed, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a neurological condition that leads to facial paralysis and its effects extend to hearing loss and dizziness. While battling with this condition, it became hard for Justin to focus on his 2023 music tour (Justice World Tour), and thus, according to Blast, he canceled most of his shows.
However, now since his expenses have exceeded his income by a great margin, despite his condition, he needs the tour for survival. According to the Blast, an insider shared, “Justin might need to tour to generate income, but his condition makes the rigors of the road nearly impossible”, as per a report by Blast.
Justin’s current financial situation is a result of various things. Since 2021, he didn’t make much new music to engage the fans. On top of that, maintaining a lavish lifestyle like his comes at a price. Reportedly, his spending habits are a significant contributor to his financial troubles.
“He spends freely without checking his bank balance,” a source added.
In addition to this, various reports claim that Justin sold his music catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million in 2022, yet a hefty property tax bill of $380,349 for his $16.6 million California estate hangs over his head.
Amid all this, Justin Bieber is reportedly considering taking legal action against his former business managers. Bieber has accused him of mismanaging his $300 million fortune. His current management team is divided over whether he should go ahead with this step or not.
In all these issues, the only silver lining is Justin and Hailey’s support for one another. The couple recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary, which in turn shushed the ongoing divorce rumors. Also, they are now parents to a beautiful baby boy Jack Blues, who is nothing but a bundle of joy for Justin and Hailey.
