Actor Kartik Aaryan, who is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’, talked about his experiences of facing many ups and downs in his life. He shared that during his struggling days, he didn’t have enough money back then to afford a portfolio.
During a podcast interview with Raj Shamani, Kartik talked candidly about the financial difficulties he faced while growing up with his family in Gwalior and the changes he experienced in his life before and after becoming a Bollywood celebrity.The actor revealed that his relationship with money has always been complicated. Before Kartik climbed the ladder of fame, the actor revealed that his family was in debt.
He said, “Because my parents were in debt for their careers. It wasn’t like we were poor, but we weren’t rich. We were EMI people. In this sort of situation, every expense is calculated. For the longest time, we had more debt than income.”
Kartik Aaryan went on to say that when he came to Mumbai, he took an education loan. Kartik also recalled his days of financial hardship, when he would borrow money from friends. “Yeh loans waali life rahi hai, doston ke beech udhaari waali life rahi hai,” Kartik said. The actor also shared memories of promising his friends that he would return their money within a few days.
