Listening to Nisha, the host shares an anecdote from his campaign days for Polio, he said, “I feel it is good for our country, it took 8 years that is when India became polio-free. We worked hard, we would make films to promote it. It took a lot of hard work to make the country Polio-free. I still remember when we became Polio-free, the United Nations invited me to facilitate me and a woman there shared an intriguing anecdote with me. She said that women shared that they didn’t believe me when I was trying to educate them about Polio.”
Big B further added, “My Ad Agency suggested that I should scold them onscreen. And I yelled at the viewers and scolded them to take Polio drops. Women from the village saw the ad where I was angry and got scared of it and began to take Polio drops.”
