The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 started with contestant Satnam Singh, a school cab driver from Delhi, who unfortunately could not win a considerable amount. Satnam found himself in a challenging spot while attempting the Rs 40,000 question and decided to use his third lifeline, ‘Double Dip.’ The question was, “Who was given the Emerging Player Award in IPL 2024?” His first choice was Option A) Yashasvi Jaiswal, followed by Option D) Shivam Dube, but unfortunately, both answers were incorrect.The correct answer was Option A) Nitish Kumar Reddy. He took home Rs 10,000. After Satnam left the show, Shreem Sharma won the fastest finger first and joined the hot seat to play the game. Shreem is from Moga, Punjab and is learning astrology from his father. He observed fast for 97 days since the time he got a call for ground auditions on May 3. He only ate fruits during this period and Big B served him Rasmalai to break his fast. Big B started the game with Shreem.

Contestant Shreem presses the buzzer and Dugnaastra gets activated and he gets a chance to win twice the amount for this question. Shreem next plays ‘Super Sandook’. He manages to answer 7 questions correctly and wins Rs 70,000. He decides to revive ‘Audience Poll’. Shreem answers the next question of Rs 6,40,000 correctly and gears up to face the question for Rs 12,50,000.
