Kerala ADGP is a ‘notorious criminal’: Left alliance MLA | Kozhikode News – Times of India

KOZHIKODE: Independent MLA with LDF, PV Anvar, has made shocking allegations against Kerala ADGP (law and order) Ajith Kumar, calling him a “notorious criminal” and alleging that the top cop – considered to be the most influential officer in the state police force – had got people murdered in connection with gold smuggling.
The MLA from Nilambur alleged that the activities of Ajith Kumar, who has links with smuggling operations, raise suspicion “whether his role model was underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.”
The accusations by a governing front MLA against Kumar, considered to be close to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM leaders, has put state govt and Vijayan in a spot as the home portfolio is with CM.Also, Anvar has released the audio clip of his phone conversation with former Malappuram SP, S Sujith Das, who is currently Pathanamthitta SP. In the clip, Das is allegedly heard saying that Kumar is cruel and also making other allegations.
He alleged that Kumar was acting on behalf of Congress and BJP and was a more potent opposition than the real opposition in the state.
Anvar said he is in possession of audio clips of conservations between Ajith Kumar’s wife and her brother, which also had a third person on the other end of the call. He alleged that the person was a gold smuggler.
Anvar also levelled allegations against S Sujith Das, saying that the police team under him has been seizing smuggled gold outside the Calicut International Airport following information leaked by customs officials. The police have been taking away 50% to 60 % of the seized gold, he said.
Anvar trained his guns at Pinarayi’s political secretary and senior CPM leader, P Sasi, who has been entrusted by the party with the handling of the home department. Anvar said Sasi has failed to discharge his duty as political secretary.
He said that he would submit a detailed statement to the CM covering all the issues he has raised and would seek an SIT probe under the supervision of a retired judge.
