In the aftermath of his anticipatory bail application being rejected by the Kerala High Court on September 24 in a rape case, the Kerala Police issued a lookout notice against Malayalam actor Siddique.

FIR Against Malayalam Actor Siddique; Actor Cries Conspiracy As New Complaints Pour In
Siddique, the actor, is a former General Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) with serious allegations of rape and criminal intimidation filed against him after a young actor pressed charges against him. The case was registered by the Museum Police in Thiruvananthapuram on August 27. Immediately after the High Court rendered its verdict, Siddique’s whereabouts remain untraceable, reports Manorama Online, citing that his phone rang once before he went out of range.
There has been increased vigil and monitoring across the state by the Kerala Police’s Special Investigation Team, SIT, tracing the missing Siddique in the wake of an investigation into his alleged involvement in the murder case. Police issued a lookout notice at all the airports and border check posts.
However, Siddique continues to deny all charges against him despite the seriousness of the situation. He has also lodged a counter complaint against the complainant accusing him and claiming innocence, alleging that he is being falsely implicated. Although the inquiry is moving at a hurry, lawyers will be waiting for more detailing in the court order on this matter.
On the work front, Siddique was last seen in the Jeethu Joseph’s directorial ‘Nunakkuzhi’ which turned out to be a superhit. The movie had Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in lead roles.
