Melania Trump questioned why the media chose to scrutinize her nude modeling work that she did as a professional model. It was a promotional video for her upcoming memoir that she dropped Wednesday addressing her past. “Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling work? The more pressing question us why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot? Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body? Throughout history, master artists have revered the human shape evoking profound emotions and admiration.We should honor our bodies and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self-expression,” Melania said in a video that featured famous nude arts like Michelangelo’s David, Paul Cézanne’s Bathers, and John Collier’s Lady Godiva.
Melania posed nude on several occasions — once in 1995 for a French adult magazine and then again on Donald Trump’s private jet for British GQ in 2000. Both were before her marriage with Donald Trump and long before she became the first lady.

Melania’s nude photos resurfaced during Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. At that time, Donald Trump said, ““Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.”
Born in Slovenia, Melania worked extensively as a fashion model since the age of 18. It was her modeling work that gave her the opportunity to migrate to the US. In US, she continued working as a model in Manhattan where she got introduced to then real estate mogul Donald Trump in 1998. Melania supported him during his 2000 presidential campaign and they got married in 2005. Their son Barron Trump was born the next year.
This election campaign, Melania is at the centerstage because many believe all is not well between Melania and Donald Trump and Melania does not want Donald Trump to win the election as that would require her to shift her base from New York to Washington again. Reports said she already made a pact with Trump that she would not become a full-time first lady if Donald Trump wins.
