BENGALURU: A 25-year-old man who had mercilessly stabbed to death a woman from Bihar at her paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru on Tuesday, was arrested from MP after a three-day manhunt.
Bengaluru police nabbed Abhishek Ghoshi from his home district, Raisen, on Friday. Ghoshi was flown to Bengaluru on Saturday after obtaining a transit warrant .He was produced before a city court, which remanded him in police custody for 10 days.
The accused had brutally attacked 24-year-old Kriti Kumari in her room on the third floor of Bhargavi Staying Home for Ladies in Koramangala area.
“We are yet to recover the knife …It is strongly suspected that he believed Kriti had influenced his girlfriend to break up with him,” a police officer said.
