Novak Djokovic failed to add a single Grand Slam title this year as the defending champion crashed out of the US Open in the third round on Friday. The world No. 2 had won three Slams last year.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion suffered 4-6, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6 defeat against 28 seeded Alexei Popyrin of Australia.
