The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) today, October 22, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who have not registered yet can visit the official site to submit their applications. Applicants can pay fees till October 23, 2024, and they can make corrections in the application form till October 25, 2024.

NTET 2024 registration: Steps to apply

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to submit their applications for NTET 2024 exam.

  • Visit the official website: Go to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in.
  • Access the registration link: On the homepage, click on the link titled “National Teachers Eligibility Test for Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy – 2024.”
  • Open the registration page: A new page will open with further instructions.
  • Click on the registration link: Select the option “Click here to register/Login.”
  • Create an account and log in: If you are a new user, create an account by providing your details, then log in using your credentials.
  • Complete the application form: Fill out the required information in the application form accurately.
  • Pay the application fee: Proceed to pay the required application fee through the available online payment methods.
  • Submit and print: After submission, make sure to take a printout of your completed application form for future reference.

NTET 2024 registration: Application fees

The NTET 2024 application fees differ based on category. General category candidates need to pay ₹4,000, while applicants from the General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS) or Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) are required to pay ₹3,500. A reduced fee of ₹3,000 applies to candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and third-gender categories.
