NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a packed schedule on Sunday, which includes presiding over seven meetings covering various topics. One of the key sessions will involve an extensive review of the new government’s 100-day agenda, set to be formed following the Lok Sabha election results.
PTI sources within the government indicated that PM Modi will lead meetings to assess the impact of Cyclone Remal, particularly in the northeastern states affected by the natural calamity.Additionally, he is expected to chair a meeting to evaluate the heatwave conditions prevailing across the nation.
Furthermore, PM Modi will preside over a meeting to discuss the plans for celebrating World Environment Day on June 5 on a grand scale.
According to exit polls released on Saturday, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is projected to secure a significant victory, paving the way for Modi to serve a third consecutive term. The official Lok Sabha election results will be declared on Tuesday.
In anticipation of the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi had initiated the process of different government ministries preparing their respective 100-day agendas for the incoming government. He has instructed his Council of Ministers to identify and prioritise programs and initiatives for the first 100 days of the new administration.
